A Time for Everything

Danny and I have been searching our hearts and praying for guidance in our lives. This has included many changes in our lives during the past couple of months. Some welcomed, and some have been stretching of the heart and will.

One area of my life that I have come to terms with is my desire to create a "niche" for myself outside of my home. My heart has been pricked with the realization that I spend too much of myself pleasing others than I do molding my children, preparing my home, and being a help meet to my husband. I have asked Danny what he would have me do...what he desires of me through my time and efforts. We both feel I should cut out my online selling presence. I will still have my domain name and link it to here instead of a shop front. I will post all my crafting goodness, and occasionally, I will still be offering up customs here as first come, first serve basis. Every now and then, I will be stocking my etsy as creativity strikes me. All of this, of course, will be second to my home and family obligations.

If you are local, I will be doing two festivals a year...one in the spring and one in the fall. I would love to see you, so I will give you notice of where I'll be in plenty so you can come by! All my readers will be getting a sneak peak at what I will be offering at the local festivals and occasionally on etsy!

Make sure you follow me here so you can get the latest on my creations and occasional offerings!

Thank you all for understand and supporting me through all my endeavors. I have truly loved serving my customers!

Bitsy's new threads

So, I found this cute retro/vintagy pillow case set at a local thrift store (gotta love thrift store shopping!). I used Kwik Sew pattern 3673 to come up with my creation.

And of course, an opportunity for a photo shoot by my talented Ashley!

The Night Before

We were so excited to do our first local festival! I have been preparing for it for the last two months. Hence why my storefront has been empty. ;)

Well, the weekend arrived and here we are the night before setting up. Danny was also competing in the Boston Butt competition at the festival so we were able to camp there on the grounds. It was a blast for all of us!

Here are pics from the night before opening.
